Responsibility

By booking a holiday with BiciLona Tours all clients warrant that they are physically fit and have no medical conditions which could put them at risk through physical activity associated with cycling.

We accept no responsibility for illness, injury or death of clients on our holidays.

All riders are expected to behave in a responsible manner and to respect the laws of the road.

It is compulsory by law to wear helmets in Spain and all riders must wear their own helmets to ensure maximum safety and hygiene.

BiciLona Tours accepts no responsibility for the condition of roads on our trips and all routes are followed at the rider’s own risk.  We reserve the right to modify the itinerary.  Any minor changes made will be equivalent to the advertised offer.

BiciLona Tours accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage resulting from war or terrorist activities, weather conditions, fire, flood or drought, airport closures, rescheduling of means of transport, or any other eventuality which may delay or extend the holiday.

It is compulsory that all riders are covered by an adequate accident and personal injury and third party liability insurance cover before the start of the trip and should be covered for travel cancellation or delays, damage or loss of luggage and accident and health.  Any insurance claims are the responsibility of the client and not of BiciLona Tours.

Bicilona reserves the right to request production of suitable insurance cover policy at any time.

All travel to and from Barcelona (start and end point) is the responsibility of the client.

Bikes

Riders are offered the use of BiciLona Tours’ bikes and are responsible for any damage or loss whilst in their possession but normal wear and tear is excluded.  All bikes supplied by BiciLona Tours will be in good roadworthy condition and correctly adjusted to suit the size and weight of the client and must be returned in the same condition in which they were received normal wear and tear excluded.

Clients are free to use their own bikes on our tours and must ensure their good roadworthy condition and sufficient spare parts should be carried. BiciLona Tours provides a support van with limited tools and parts. It may levy a reasonable charge for repairs required (beyond normal wear and tear) for its own bikes or for the client’s own bike

Reservations

A non-refundable booking deposit of 40% of the total amount is required to secure a place on the tour and will be confirmed in writing accompanied by a receipt. The outstanding amount shall be due 30 days prior to commencement of the tour.  All payments will be held in the BiciLona Tours Bank account until 10 days after the end of the trip

Payment Options

Bank transfer –   We accept bank transfers and we will provide our bank details on request.  All transfers must be identified with the name of the client booking the tour. The customer is liable for any bank charges incurred.

Credit card – clients can pay by credit card on our secure site. At no time does BiciLona Tours receive customers' card details.

Cancellation

All cancellations must be made in writing and are refunded as follows:

40% reservation deposit -               non refundable

4-8 weeks before start date -         50% of remaining balance

2-4 weeks before start date-          75% of remaining balance

0-2 weeks before start date-          100% of remaining balance

Prices

Prices include 4 nights’ accommodation and breakfast, lunch and dinner for 5 days.  Transportation of your luggage and the use of our bikes (optional).  We will provide water and energy snacks and a BiciLona Tours cycling jersey.  A GPS Strava report will be available of your tour along with photos and GoPro recorded HD video footage.

All accommodation and eateries have been selected for their cleanliness, high standard and comfort and any specific dietary or accommodation requirements should be specified at the time of booking.

Any additional refreshments or entertainment not listed on the BiciLona Tours website or advertisements is not included in the price.

Luggage

BiciLona Tours accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to a client’s baggage and should be covered by an adequate insurance policy.   We ask all customers to limit their baggage to one for transportation.

BiciLona Tours has endeavoured to ensure the accuracy of our advertising material and website and any unforeseen modifications will be notified in writing prior to the commencement of the trip.
